Crash video

More information about what happened on Tuesday – a small white car/SUV crashed into a building at the intersection of 2nd Avenue South and 4th Street, near the Great Falls Rescue Mission’s “Cameron Family Center,” just before 4 p.m.

A friend shared this photo with me, and another person shared a brief video clip showing how it happened.

One person posted on Facebook just after 4 p.m. that there was a “huge police presence” in the area.

As seen in the video, a black Dodge SUV blew through a stop sign, and crashed into the white vehicle. The white vehicle then crashed into the building – which apparently is empty, and there was no one inside, thankfully.

The person who shared the video said that the driver of the black Dodge stayed at the scene was cited for causing the crash.

At this point, it appears that no one sustained critical injuries – I’m assuming that is because of seatbelts and/or airbags.

A scary reminder to always be aware of your surroundings, obey all traffic signs, and drive defensively. No guarantees, though, as evidenced here.

Please be careful, everyone!
