Sad news – Noodle Express on 10th Avenue South has closed.
They announced the closure a few hours ago on Facebook.
I drove over there wondering if they were still open this evening, but no luck. They have a sign on the door announcing the closure and thanking the Great Falls community for the last 12 years.
A nice man named John opened the door to chat briefly with me. He explained that he is here from the corporate office in Spokane, and that they had reached the end of their lease at this location, and decided it was time to close. He said that about 12 employees are affected, and that Noodle Express is working on a severance package for them.
During the 10 minutes or so that I was there, several people drove up and walked to the door, and were sad when they read the sign.
I will miss Noodle Express – thanks for the pork and rice bowls!
(PS – if you’re really, really craving Noodle Express, you can drive over to Missoula or Spokane!)
NOTE: Did you know that at least FIVE restaurants have opened in Great Falls recently?
