Almost time for the annual “release the geese” event! Yes, I know that it’s not JUST geese (ducks and swans, too), but it’s a catchy title 😀 Happening this Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Gibson Pond.
From a City press release:
City of Great Falls Park and Recreation Department will be releasing the waterfowl back into Gibson Pond Friday, April 19 at 10:30am. Bring your entire family, it’s always entertaining for kids of all ages. Park and Recreation staff takes care of the waterfowl over the winter months at their indoor location at the North end of Gibson Park. There they enjoy an indoor pond and are fed daily. Once they are released into Gibson Pond they are still fed on a daily basis by staff. For more information please contact the Park and Recreation Department at 771-1265.
Cross your fingers for sunshine on Friday!
