The Loft relocated from the AgriVillage building on 10th Avenue South to the 4810 2nd Avenue North (between 38th Street and Malmstrom AFB) several years ago. I ate at the original Loft a few times back in 2002-2003ish, but haven’t been to the new location.
The new location is sparse, but adequate. I think the building used to be Colleen’s Restaurant (?).
The menu was diverse – plenty of breakfast and lunch options – eggs, omelets, waffles, burgers, sandwiches, etc.
Interestingly, there were also some Korean options, including bulgogi. My wife LOVES that stuff, so she tried bulgogi beef over rice, which included an egg on top. Her verdict: DELICIOUS. Seriously, she loved it.
I had a bacon double-cheeseburger, which was fine – not outstanding, not bad, but fine. Sadly, the french fries were a bland, flavorless failure.
The Loft is open from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. every day.
I’m willing to give it another shot – and my wife can’t wait to go again!
