Overfield Trial

Susan Overfield, fellow blogger (and author) is getting her day in court. You probably remember the incident that started this: back in June, Susan exceeded the 3-minute limit on addressing the City Commission, and Mayor Stebbins had her removed from the chamber by a police officer. The officer was not in uniform, and Susan reacted by trying to fend him off. She was then charged with disorderly conduct and assault. Watch the video of the incident and tell me what you think.

  1. *IMHO* If you have an officer at a public meeting he should be in uniform or identify himself as such before he attempts to remove any individual. (I did not hear the officer identify himself on the video)
