Things To Do

If you’re looking for something to do, you might consider community service, or perhaps getting involved in the local theatre group. Check it out:

Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP): the North Central chapter of RSVP has a nifty site that details plenty of volunteer opportunities. The mission of the RSVP is “To engage citizens age 55 and older in meaningful service to meet local community needs in Cascade, Chouteau, and Teton Counties.”

The Center State Community Theatre site has information about upcoming plays, such as “Murder At The Howard Johnsons” and “Cabaret.” One of the goals of Center Stage is to get people involved: “…people who have always wanted to “be in theatre” as an actor, director, stage hand, lighting/sound person, or set designer can get on-hands training while participating in producing a show.”

  1. The Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP)web site lists as one of the activities that are seeking volunteers, the Rainbow. The Rainbow is a for-profit Senior Residence facility.

I wonder if the RSVP would also include requests for volunteers for other for-profit enterprises in the Great Falls area? I can well imagine that many for-profit enterprises would love to have as many non-paid volunteers as they could squeeze into their facilities.
