Taken on Monday…just a tiny little dusting of snow on the Highwood Mountains. (click the pic to see larger size) It was a pretty mild summer, thank goodness, and seeing snow in early September – even if it is a few miles away – makes me giddy.
Checking out the Weather Channel a few minutes ago and noticed this: “Wind Chill 38” Let me repeat: we have a WIND CHILL in Great Falls. On August 31st. WOOHOO! How many of you enjoyed the much-cooler temps the last couple of days? How many of you actually turned on your heat for at least a few hours? But for any of you who shiver when the temps drop below 70 degrees, just remember: it could have been worse. Remember – snow in August is not impossible in Great Falls!
