New GF Blogger!

Sunday, December 4, 2005

Some of you may have noticed “SallyT” in the comments around here (“Hi SallyT!”) – turns out that she’s a blogger, too! Go on over and welcome SallyT to the Great Falls blogosphere at Montana Graffiti! And I must admit – her font and template are pretty cool!

Cut-n-Color

Friday, November 11, 2005

Ever wanted to do something dramatic with your hair? Are you willing to be a guinea pig? Are you brave enough to handle shear change? Then you might want to see what Keri is up to – she’s looking for some victims volunteers to practice her hair-skillz on! But don’t worry – she’s been cutting my hair for more than two years, and I’ve never walked out looking dorky or weird. Well, no more dorky or weird than I usually look, anyway.

Around GF

What’s going on in the Great Falls blogosphere? First up is Andrea, who offers an apology for ever uttering the word “jetter,” which is a term used by some Great Falls natives to refer to the airmen at Malmstrom Air Force Base. Keri is hitting the road for a mini-vacation with her kids; she better bring some pix to share with us! Ray has some thoughts on the Katrina situation, and who is to blame for the post-storm chaos. Good Neighbors

They have worked very hard for many years to make Little Athens a comfortable place to get something a little out of the ordinary, and now they are being rewarded: an all-expense paid “forced” vacation back to Greece, courtesy of their children! The kids are minding the store while Andreas and Aspasia visit relatives and friends back home — if you get a...

“Larry”

Saturday, July 16, 2005

One of the fixtures here in Great Falls is “Larry The Homeless Guy.” I don’t know if that’s his name, but that’s what everyone calls him. You can see him just about every day, pushing or pulling his large cart of belongings along 6th Street, or on Central Avenue, or sometimes across the 10th Avenue South bridge. The kids all “know” his story: he’s actually a millionaire, he’s got mental problems but won’t take his medications, he’s married with several kids, he invented an incredible device, he was a war hero, and so on. So I put it to...
