It’s open! The Bagel Co. of Great Falls opened on Sunday, and I stopped in today and picked up a few, along with some cream cheese.
Verdict: the sesame bagel I had was the best bagel I’ve eaten since 1997 in Mountain View, California.
It’s located right next to Target, and they have many types of bagels, of course, and at least seven different types of cream cheese that I counted. Coffee and cola available, too, and there’s also breakfast-y items on the menu (egg on bagel, etc).
The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and the owner Renna was full of good cheer!
And the cream cheese was perfect – wasn’t the standard Philly-brand hard stuff, this was fluffy cream cheese served in a little container – yay!
Apparently the bagel shop isn’t going to open until late January…when it does, I hope that they sell something similar to “shmear,” the wonderful cream cheesy spread that I used to enjoy at Noah’s Bagels.
Looks like Great Falls is getting a new bagel store!
It’s called The Bagel Co., and the sign says “Bagels and Beans,” and they’ve already got a placeholder website, and a sign in the window saying that they are hiring.
It’s located right in between Target and Snap Fitness, in the spot formerly occupied by AAA.
I’m pretty optimistic – anyone know when it’s going to open?
