* I’ve heard a few people say that Cattlemen’s Cut (between Great Falls and Vaughn) may be moving to a new location – possibly the former Tony Roma’s/On The Border building in the Great Falls Marketplace, which has been vacant for a few years. Don’t know if it’s true, but I did notice this “For Sale” sign when I drove by Cattlemen’s today.

* Speaking of restaurants – also heard rumors that Little Athens in the mall may be moving (or expanding) to the former Bert & Ernie’s downtown (which closed several months ago). If true – that would be really neat. It’s a great restaurant space, and Little Athens is much loved by the community. And it would be wonderful to have a full-scale Greek restaurant; I’m still very sad that Dimitri’s closed.

* The Great Falls Police Department is asking for help identifying a robbery suspect; if you have any information please call Detective Perkins at 406-455-8520.

* Going to start adding a “Flashback” to each daily post! Here is today’s – it’s from August 6, 2006, when tickets for the Rolling Stones concert in Missoula went on sale at Smith’s grocery store here in Great Falls:
