CMR Shake

Sure, I understand memes – some are awesome (hello, Sweet Brown!), while others are simply baffling. An example of the latter is the “Harlem Shake” that has been making the rounds.

By now, just about every group, agency, unit, or artist has apparently done it.

Still, it’s sort of cool to see the kids at CMR trying their hand at it. BONUS: horse-head!

CMR does the Harlem Shake

A semi tipped on I-15 down near Wolf Creek last night; it shut down the highway for a little bit, but no one was hurt.

As far as I know, there were no reporters at the scene (at least until this morning, after the truck had been moved), so if you’re wondering what the tipped truck looked like, the folks at KULR in Billings have helpfully supplied an image to help you out.

The Jack Club

I’ve posted a few times about the Jack Club, and years later, people are still leaving comments about it – mostly about some of the recipes.

I arrived in Great Falls too late to ever enjoy the Jack Club as an eatery, but I’ve heard lots of good things about it.

Nowadays, it’s a pretty funky antique and collectible store; we stop by every few months looking for fun stuff.

This is what it looks like:

And this is what they used to serve:

Five Loaves Too

Five Loaves has been around since 2005 on the far east side of Great Falls – I’ve sampled a few of their treats – quite tasty.

Now they’ve opened a second location – Five Loaves Too – over on Smelter Avenue near 2-Js, in the spot where the Missouri Breaks coffee shop used to be.

Their Facebook page says that the new location is open Monday-Friday 6:30AM-4:30PM, and Saturday 7:30AM-3:30PM.
