Submitted for your consideration: two magazines, nearly identical in appearance. Most of you have heard of “Grit,” I’m sure, either by way of reading it, or via the ads in the back of comic books in the 70s telling you that you could make big money selling it. The other one is “Capper’s,” which appears to be some sort of “Grit” clone operating under a different name but with (as near as we could tell) identical content.
Maybe it’s sort of like how Ford has a Mercury line with nearly-identical cars (Grand Marquis–>Crown Vic, etc)?
