Wanna be a squirrel? Here’s your chance!
Did you ever dream of being a mascot when you grew up? The Food Bank is looking for a back-up volunteer willing to be transformed into Dash, the Food Bank squirrel, at various events throughout the year. No talking required, just willing to give a lot of hugs and make people smile. Must be under 6′ tall and have the ability to wear a full costume and head. Trust me, it’s fun!
Cool – who knew the squirrel’s name is Dash? Yes, it sounds like it would be really fun…but I have a feeling that it would way too hot inside the squirrel costume, and I don’t handle heat very well.
