Had fun on Tuesday night as a guest speaker for a UGF class. Tom Kotynski – fellow blogger – is the instructor, and he invited me to chat with the students on the subject of “Writing For The Media,” which also included some interesting conversations about website design/layout (in terms of media sites, mostly); the relevance (or not?) of editorial judgment; and the importance of the basics (grammar, punctuation, etc). Among the students: Charles, who looked SO familiar; another fellow blogger, the always delightful Claire; and one of my (behind-the-scenes) cool co-workers from KRTV!
