County Size

Lots of talk lately about the 2010 Census numbers…thought it would be interesting to look at county populations. Great Falls is the 3rd largest town in Montana, behind Billings and Missoula.

County-wise, Cascade ranks 5th, behind Yellowstone (Billings), Missoula (Missoula), Gallatin (Bozeman), and Flathead (Kalispell).

One Response to County Size

Cascade will be the sixth largest county in 10 – 15 years. Great Falls and Cascade county have had almost zero population growth since 1970. 40 frickin years. And economically, I’d say the city and county have been incompetent during that time in attracting new businesses that bring in decent paying jobs.
