Whoa…out of the frying pan, into the fire!

Rest of Monday: Snow. New snow accumulation 2 to 3 inches. Highs zero to 5 below. Northeast winds up to 10 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent. Wind chill readings 10 below to 20 below zero in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Snow. Snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Lows 15 below to 20 below zero. Northeast winds up to 10 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent. Wind chill readings 20 below to 30 below zero after midnight.

Tuesday: Snow in the morning…then snow likely in the afternoon. Snow accumulation 2 to 4 inches. Total snow accumulation 6 to 13 inches. Highs 5 below to 10 below zero. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 90 percent. Wind chill readings 30 below to 40 below zero.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow in the evening… then a slight chance of snow after midnight. Lows 20 below to 25 below zero. Temperatures rising into the lower teens below zero after midnight. Northwest winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Love that phrasing for Tuesday night: “Temperature RISING into the lower teens below zero.”
