In this final entry of the 31 Days of Halloween, a couple of “ghosts” from Halloween past!
From Halloween 2008 – sugar skulls!
From Halloween 2009 – my first jack-o-lantern!
Wrapping up the 31 Days Of Halloween – here’s a couple of nicely-decorated houses in Great Falls displaying the proper “spirit!”
I don’t believe in ghosts, spirits, poltergeists, banshees, or any other such supernatural stuff. Nor do I believe in Bigfoot, Nessie, Yeti, chupacabra, or other such mythical creatures (but Bigfoot WAS awesome when he squared off against Steve Austin). And I don’t think that aliens ever (or ever will) hovered over missile silos in Montana. However…Tyler’s look at the Lobby Bar does look entertaining…will it convince any of you?
The annual Highwood Bar “slab-o-meat” for my birthday – the most perfect prime rib we have ever had. Absolutely amazing.
More on the Highwood Bar – and Piano Jack – right here.
Travis Kavulla is winning the fund-raising race in his campaign for the Public Service Commission; the Tribune reports: “First-time Republican candidate Travis Kavulla has outraised his Democratic opponent, former state senator Don Ryan, by more than 2-1 in the hotly contested race for the District 1 seat on the Public Service Commission.” If you want to know why – Travis’ post over at ECW might shed some light.
Jack’s weekly “Caught My Eye” is up over at The Western Word. I like his call-out of politicians using the word “chip.”
Fans of urban chickens – sad news reported by Sandra.
Mark provides yet another reason to love living in Montana!
A true Fall Classic – candy corn!
