I wonder if Great Falls’ favorite son, Charlie Russell, is weeping right now over his good name being used in any context that includes the phrase “threatening letters.” That’s right – the director of the C.M. Russell Museum has apparently been receiving such mail. Anyone who truly appreciates Charlie’s work – and the Western art mini-industry and goodwill that our community benefits from – should be disgusted by this. Good grief.
