Double Rainbow!

I’ll admit to being a little sad that – IIRC – this is the first June in three years that we haven’t had any snow (2009, 2008). Having said that…I’m awfully glad that we haven’t had any real heat yet – yesterday was the first 90-degree day this year, I think. On balance – this has been a decent June, weather-wise.

Thought that the storm that blew the area this evening was going to give us something pretty big, but it looks like we escaped most of the heavy stuff (unlike Lincoln). But the evening did bring a very cool double rainbow (Chuck caught at least one of them)!

Sunday in Fort Benton

Took a Sunday drive up to Fort Benton yesterday – what a wonderful community. Spent a little bit wandering around the annual “Summer Celebration,” enjoying the “Art On The Levee” crafters and woodworkers and candle-makers. Also tried some deep-fried Oreos. Yum.

More “Goode” Stuff!

Driving to work this morning and stumbled across Hayley interviewing Harold to talk about they Haystack being named “Best Breakfast in Montana” by Food Network Magazine! I snapped a couple pix and headed on to work…and when Hayley finished up at Goode’s, she returned to the station with a haystack for me! Thanks Hayley!

Look for Hayley’s story this evening on KRTV! UPDATE: here’s the story, including some tasty video.
