News of the possible closure of the Great Falls Natatorium has generated some citizen action – got the following e-mail from Aaron on Sunday – there is a “Save The Nat” rally today (Monday) at 10:00 a.m. Here’s part of his message:
During its upcoming budget planning, the City is considering closing our Natatorium. It is vital that we send a clear message that the Nat is a resource that we cannot and should not consider closing.
We will hold a RALLY TO SAVE THE NAT tomorrow, 10 a.m. In Front of the Nat. Please come and lend your voice to help let the City know closing the Nat really shouldn’t be an option.
Did you know that Paris Gibson gave the Nat’s grounds to the City for the express purpose of building a community pool? An indoor community pool has been on those grounds ever since.
Please lend your time and voice. Without it, our kids may lose the option of year-round indoor swimming in Great Falls.
Sorry I didn’t get this posted sooner!
