Words, Pictures, and Seeds

Claire Baiz of Wedge Blog – one of the best and snappiest writers in Great Falls – is spending some time in the Big Apple, and offers up some interesting observations. To wit: “Once you take the fancy clothes off the Naked City, see, it’s not so complicated after all. Big cities all look the same with their pants down.”

Speaking of writers, our own best-selling novelist Jamie Ford offers up a “dream sequence” of sorts, in which he attends career day at a local school. I like his glare at the math teacher.

And Karen at Because I Can In Montana offers up some nice winter pix on a drive around town. Can you guess which picture I liked the most?

And be sure to stop by Amy’s place and say hi; she’s talking about seeds, and here’s her take on Groundhog Day: “Despite at least 6 inches of snow on the ground and the fact the wretched rodent saw his shadow and predicted 6 more weeks of winter weather, I’m in full blown seed glory.”
