Cool – the Great Falls Storm cheerleading squad brought home some championship pride! Now here’s my crazy idea: why don’t we kick off city commission meetings with cheerleaders?!
Not just city commission – but ANY of the meetings in which people’s eyes tend to glaze over (school board, county commission, chamber, etc). Yes, the meetings are necessary, but having a bunch of cheerleaders to energize the crowds might just be the key to sparking more lively debate and active participation!
Of course, it might be challenging to come up with effective cheers using words like “ECP” and “budget” and “zoning” and “committee”…
