Received an e-mail from the folks at Pulse-Great Falls who want to rustle up community support for a young lady who is battling cancer:
Former Pulse member, Jessica Graves, has just been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. On September 12th from 3-7pm, please join her friends at the Skyline Bar for a special benefit fundraiser to help Jessica with the cost of medical and travel expenses. There will be a smoked beef dinner, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.
Currently, there is a need for items to be donated for the silent auction. Items that have been donated so far include: original art, prints, gift baskets, wine, dinner at local restaurants, and vacation packages. These are only a few items, and the organizers are looking for anything that people attending the benefit might be interested in bidding on.
If anyone is interested in rounding up donations from their place of work, other businesses, or through your personal contacts in the community, the organizers of Jessica’s fundraiser would be extremely appreciative. Items are asked to be donated by September 1st to either Bill Collins or Wayne Klind. Wayne Klind can be reached at 406/491.8519 [Pacific Steel and Recycling].
Finally, we hope to see you on September 12th at the Skyline. The event will be held in the lower level of the bar from 3 until 7pm. See you there!
