Salad Creations is now open! Looks like a cool place, but…uh…you’ll have to let me know how it is, because I have a feeling that if I set foot in there, it (or I) would probably burst into flames. Salad – ewww.
It’s located on the corner of 10th Avenue South at 9th Street – in the building once occupied by Blockbuster.
On the other hand, I can whole-heartedly recommend the new breakfast items at Starbucks — I’ve had the sausage muffin twice, and it’s pretty good, and my gal had the spinach/mushroom piadini and loved it.
I ate at the salad place on Monday. I’m not a huge salad lover (actually I’m a former lettuce-hater) but they serve wraps and paninis, too. I had a create your own salad with buffalo chicken and loved it. It probably was higher in calories than you’d think, and the prices are a bit high for “rabbit food,” but if you’re in the mood for some greens, it’s an option to try a salad with tons of “stuff” in it.
The spinach wrap with feta Starbucks has is OUTSTANDING.
I triple dog dare ya to join me for lunch at Salad Creations! I’ll make special request for a water hose to douse your flames if you spontaneously combust…
I ate at Salad Creations yesterday. It was quite tasty, but the Jaker’s salad bar is a much better deal and just as good.
