So I was talking with Katie at work the other day, and we started talking about the Montana State Fair – wondering what changes might be coming up for ’09, what our favorite parts of the Fair are, etc. Naturally, I brought up the animals, and proudly told her that I got a blue ribbon for milking a goat at the ’07 Fair. She exclaimed, “I got one of those, too!” I let out a whoop and said, “It’s so good to know that I’m not the only ADULT that got a child’s blue ribbon for milking a goat!” At which point Katie explained – between chuckles and guffaws – that she got hers when she was five years old.
