Thank you, everyone – your sympathies and kind thoughts are very, very much appreciated. We spent some time this weekend going through pictures and videos of Kirby – and spent a lot of time laughing and smiling. It hurts to have lost the precious pup – but we are far, far better for having had Kirby brighten our lives and loving us for so long.
In the end, the pain doesn’t last and doesn’t really matter – only the love and happiness are what are important, and will remain forever.
I’m sorry you lost Kirby. It’s a lot of good memories you have now to fill the empty places in your hearts.
