Stopped by the new store in downtown Great Falls called “Stranger Things” — and there is indeed some strange stuff in there, but also some way cool stuff. Retro, kitsch, bizarre, unique – all of those words apply to this place. It’s sort of like a cross between Spencer’s, a toy store, and Sherlock’s Home – but none of that stupid sex-related junk that Spencer’s sells. And the prices seemed to be much more reasonable than the other places, too. Family Guy, KISS, skulls, dragons, toys, Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, “living dead” dolls, incense, tote bags, Elvis gear, all kinds of neat stuff. It’s on Central Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets – if you haven’t checked it out yet, definitely worth a look.
