Including one of my biggest pet peeves: spelling errors on marquee signs!
Not a spelling error…all words are spelled correctly…but a grammar error…but in today’s day and age all words seem to be shortened.
I was going to say – WHAT!? No mention of the spelling error?
But I see my thought has company.
And with all due respect, Todd; I would definitely consider that a spelling error, not a grammatical error. Words do seem to be shortened / abbreviated much these days, but a marquee sign isn’t a text message or an email or a lolcat =)

Regardless, there are no misspelled words on the marquee, only misused words. Trust me, I am no spelling genius (GOD LOVE SPELL CHECK), but I’m pretty certain there are no misspelled words on the marquee pictured above.
There is a little article in the business section of today’s Tribune saying they will reopen tomorrow.
