First up: a new-to-me Great Falls blogger! It’s the Montana Scarecrow, blogging at Montana Thoughts. He’s also got a nifty photoblog, too.

I’m happy to report that the KRTV “Polar Plunge” team exceeded its goal and raised over $1,700 for Special Olympics Montana. You can see some video of the Plunge (and Stroll) right here. And yes, temperatures were actually ABOVE freezing for this year’s stroll – but that wind blowing down Central Avenue brought the wind-chill way down! Brave souls, those plungers. And for those who wondered why I didn’t take the plunge: yes, I love the cold – but I don’t do wet!

Good news: Syd is currently in FIRST PLACE in the Tailgate Recipe contest! If you haven’t voted yet, get to it!

Gentle reminder: Lobster Bisque at the Park-n-Ponder.

Can you spot the Christmas Pig in these pictures?

And don’t forget: “The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow… which is in effect from 5 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Monday.” Bring it on!
