While gathering some links for this story about two of Montana’s finest teachers, I couldn’t help but wonder how something like this slipped by…

I know, I know…typos and spelling errors can happen to anyone, but when it happens on a school billboard, or another school billboard – or in this case, an organization of professional teachers – well, gosh…it’s just…cringe-inducing. In a wry, sorta funny way.

Careful, Dave, the typo still hasn’t been fixed @ http://montanasnewsstation.com/Global/link.asp?L=300217, lol!
*wince* I know Chuckles — I pointed it out to the powers that be…will f/u on it today!
For quite a while last spring, the reader board on our kids school bragged about being home to the winner of the “speling” bee.
I’m not making this up.
Craig, no photo?
Dave, did you know that there was the Typo Eradication Advancement League, whose members go around the country correcting signs (and, two of their members were sentenced to probation and banned from national parks for a year after getting busted for fixing errors on a sign in Grand Canyon National Park) and there was also the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar.
Well, today’s WorldJewishReview.com has an article, Spelling, grammatical errors on signs becoming a ‘regualar’ occurrence, all about them, and more.
