Ever wondered who visits GreaterFalls.com, where they come from, and such? Here’s some of the data from August, presented in descending order of # of visits:
Top Ten Montana Communities: Great Falls (duh), Missoula, Helena, Billings, Bozeman, East Helena, Kalispell, Whitefish, Butte, and Fairfield.
Top Five Countries: USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Turkey, Germany
Top Eight ISPs: Bresnan, Qwest, Comcast, RoadRunner, CutThroat, GF Tribune, SoFast, and 3 Rivers.
Top Three Browsers: Microsoft IE (62%), Firefox (32%), Safari (5%)
Some thoughts: I didn’t know that East Helena was so “distinct” from Helena proper. The UK, Turkey, and Germany visits are likely due to military folks, either from Great Falls or hoping to get (back) here. Nice to see so many Trib visitors. And a good showing from Firefox – kudos to my readers who use it!
UPDATE: and speaking of browsers…I’m giving Chrome a spin right now…it was released a couple of hours ago…so far, so good.
