This has nothing to do with Great Falls…but just damn. Isaac Hayes, one of the true legends of modern music, has passed away. Known to all for his star-making “Shaft” score (and more), and to a younger generation as the voice of Chef on “South Park.”
RIP, Isaac Hayes. Your music & style will live forever.

RIP Isaac Hayes

I’m right there with ya. He was an amazing man. He not only wrote and performed hits like “Shaft”, but also wrote a lot of hits like “Hold On, I’m Coming” and “Soul Man” for other performers.

The entertainment world has lost two highly-talented men this weekend.
