The City of Great Falls took an ax to several programs in next year’s budget, including the festive fireworks display for the 4th of July celebration. But now Bennett Motors has stepped up to sponsor next year’s Independence Day fireworks:
“We’ll make sure there are fireworks next year and we’ll gladly accept help if individuals, clubs and other businesses want to join us,” said Cari Yturri, Bennett Motors president. “We’re got a tremendous military here. I think it’s a way to honor them.” Yturri said the fireworks show is “too awesome of a thing not to have.”
