Happy Summer, everyone! Yep – today is the official first day of summer. Coming just nine days after our most recent snowstorm…heh. And what better way to celebrate the arrival of the hottest season than by taking the family for some splashy fun? The Electric City Water Park opens tomorrow!

Electric City Water Park Opens Saturday To Beautiful Weather
The Electric City Water Park opens Saturday, June 21 and the weather forecast is a perfect 85 degrees and dry! The Water Park will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cory Wells will be broadcasting live from noon to 2 p.m. on 97.9 The River.
The Water Park includes the Mitchell Pool, the wading pool and interactive play structure (Little Squirts Soak Zone); the Power Tower Plunge (two great water slides); and the Flow Rider where participants can boogie board, ride the lazy river and head down the riptide slide.
The Electric City Water Park will be open daily June 21 – August 26. In addition, the Water Park will be open Labor Day Weekend, August 30 – September 1. Hours are 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the weekends and 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. on weekdays. Pool rentals are available in the evenings. There will also be lap swimming available at the Water Park, Monday – Thursday, 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Cost: $2.50/day
