Our newly-named (and themed) minor-league baseball team, the Great Falls Voyagers, are throwing a party tomorrow, and you’re invited:
The newly-named Great Falls Voyagers will kick off their 2008 season with a party on June 14th from 1:00 until 5:00 at Centene Stadium. There will be free hot dogs and Pepsi. 2008 Voyagers players will be on hand to sign autographs and pictures; the party will also feature lots of fun activities for children of all ages.
Sounds like a good time – best wishes to the Voyagers!
On the other hand, if you’re looking for something a bit more rural, don’t forget that the Belt Rodeo will be held this weekend:
Come and enjoy Father’s Day weekend at the 48th Annual Belt PRCA Rodeo. Join in the friendly and great action. Kick off the weekend on Friday night at 7:00pm with the Calcutta for Saturday’s rodeo performance. The exciting Saturday evening rodeo begins at 6:00pm. Sunday features a breakfast starting at 7:00am at the local Fire Dept. Hall. Slack starts at 8:00am followed by a hometown parade at 11:00am. More rodeo action to start at 2:00pm.
Of course, you don’t necessarily have to be a ‘rodeo’ fan to enjoy the event; it’s also an excuse to simply re-visit a great community, stroll the streets and shops, and enjoy some good food!
