Alive @ Five 2008

Whoa – with all of the rain and the mild temperatures, looks like summer snuck up on us! Wouldja believe that the first edition of “Alive @ Five” for 2008 will be this evening? It will be centered at 1st Avenue South & 3rd Street, and the scheduled band is the awesome 49th Street Blues Project. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the summer (date, location, band):

June 12: Central Ave & 4th Street; Nervous Norvis & The Nasty Nerds
June 19: Civic Center Park; Hit & Run
June 27: Central Ave & 1st Street; Bucky Beaver Ground Grippers
July 3: Gibson Park; Slip-Tones
July 10: Central Ave & 8th Street: Cold Hard Cash (yay!)
July 17: Milwaukee Depot; Hound-dog’s Rockin’ Blues
July 24: Broadwater Bay; Recoil
July 31: Central Ave & 5th Street; Texas Toast & Jam/Thea Tippin
August 7: Central Ave & 6th Street; Juke Box Band
August 14: 1st Avenue South & 2nd Street; Voodoo Cadillac
August 21: Central Ave & 3rd Street; Steve Keller Band
August 28: Central Ave & 1st Street; 49th Street Blues Project

If you’ve never been to Alive @ Five, you definitely should check it out. Music, food, games, crafts, prizes – fun for everyone!

    Dave,
    Thanks so much for all the promotion you do of events held here in Great Falls. People like you who spread the word about events like Alive@Five help make them successful because I know of people who don’t hear about them any other way except through blogs like yours. Thanks again!
