Anybody have first-hand reports from Election Central down at Montana Expo Park? Easy to navigate, helpful staff, tasty refreshments? Long lines, bewildered staff, stale coffee? Tell Great Falls about your voting experience!
UPDATE: wow, what a great experience! I zipped over to the Expo Park during my lunch hour to vote, and the people were helpful, friendly, and professional. I think this single-location voting is a winner! Everybody that I talked to today seemed to agree that it was simple and fast, with no problems. Kudos to the Election staff and volunteers!
I went this morning and it was fast and well organized, with young, friendly greeters at the door to point you in the right direction. Being skeptical, before hand, I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t know about the lunch hour–it looked pretty crowded when I went by.
Same here. I was there for all of five minutes. I was there about 1:30, and there were quite a few people there. Overall, I give it a thumbs up.
I voted during my lunch hour. I was in & out of there in five minutes (maybe less). The election people did a great job. I give them an A+. However, I still prefer neighborhood polling places because of drive time but I realize that probably is a thing of the past.
I was very impressed at how well everything was organized and the precincts labeled. It took me less than five minutes to vote. The Elections office should be commended for a job well done.
I stopped by before I went to work…it was a lot less confusing than my regular voting place.
