Saturday Happenings

If you’re looking for something fun to do on Saturday, you’re in luck! First up is the wonderful Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning in downtown Great Falls. Trust me – if you think that the Farmer’s Market is just about fruits and veggies, guess again. Arts and crafts, tasty treats, pony rides, and plenty more! And when you’re done with that, you’ve got to check out the annual Riverfest community celebration right along (duh) the river:

RiverFest is a free, family-friendly event that celebrates our community through arts, entertainment and recreational activities…come with family and friends to enjoy national and local live entertainment, sea plane fly-bys, hands-on children’s activities, an arts and craft show and sale, skateboard and water sport demos, NorthWestern Energy bucket truck rides, the A&W Hot & Getting Hotter Car Show as well as good food and drink.

And if you’d rather do some “yard sailing” then Vaughn is the place to be:

We are organizing a Community Garage Sale Day here in Vaughn on Saturday July 14th, 2007. The stores & bars will all have specials going including several big BBQ’s! Should be great fun! If you have questions call ReAnn Rothwell: 965-3441.
Including: Vaughn Volunteer Fire Department Open House – 30+ Garage Sales – Food & Drink – Other Vendors/Flea Market – Parking Lot Sales
Items for sale include: 3-D Archery Bows, Archery Accessories, American Car Care Tires, Antiques, Art, Baby Equipment, GF Goodrich Tires, Books, Ceramics and Pottery, Chevy Celebrity, Clothes of All Sizes, Crafts, Electronics and Computers, Decorating and Household Items, Furniture, Tack, Toys, Waterbeds, and MORE!
