Received the following pix and message from a co-worker today:

The attached pictures are of a young dog that we found on 53rd Street, about a 1/4 mile from Malmstrom AFB, and he was moving towards 10th Avenue South.

He is a very sweet little guy, we named him Rough and Tumble, because he looked like it! He is wearing a blue bandana and he was pretty hungry and tired. He looked like he has a family that loved him very much (he was very cuddly and obedient). He appears to be about two years of age, Red Heeler, Husky and German Shepard mix, about 50 pounds, and his shoulders are about knee height. Could you help us find his owner? We think he may have escaped during the Independence Day hullabaloo.

If you belong to this dog – or know who does – please let me know by leaving a comment here or e-mailing me at david@greaterfalls.com

What a cutie. I hope he gets reunited with his owners soon or vice versa.

I think that’s the same dog I saw while heading back to base the other day, he was running across the road right outside the back gate. I would assume he belongs to a family on base.

I’ll keep a lookout for missing dog signs, he could be from my neighborhood.

Has anybody called the local vets and circulated these photos through them? Have they taken him to see if he has a microchip? Both of our dogs have them, and most vets have a “reader”.
