Open House at Malmstrom

Malmstrom AFB will hold its annual Open House on Saturday and Sunday. It’s a pretty big attraction, featuring an airshow (this year – the Canadian Air Force Snowbirds), static displays of airplanes (past and present) and helicopters and other military gear, information and displays about the missiles, and I think an auto show this year, too. Always fun – especially for families.

BREAKING NEWS, 4:33pm: damn – looks like one of the Canadian Snowbird planes has crashed during practice…please, please let the pilot be safe. The team was practicing for their performance at tomorrow’s air show at Malmstrom…

I was taking photos of the practice before heading to the clinic. Here is the best shot.
My sympathies to the family & team.
