Good news: Great Falls is ranked #4 on the list of “clean air” cities in America! And more good news: Cascade County is ranked #10 among all U.S. counties! Take a look at the full list of good and bad places (city and county), and here’s the top ten clean air cities:
1. Cheyenne, Wyo.
2. Santa Fe-Espanola, N.M.
3. Honolulu
4. Great Falls, MT!
5. Tucson, Ariz.
6. Anchorage, Alaska
7. Farmington, N.M.
7. Bismark, N.D.
9. Albuquerque, N.M.
10. Rapid City, S.D.
So step outside, take a big, deep, invigorating breath of fresh air, and add that to the list of reasons to love Great Falls!

Well, I lived in Cheyenne WY for 3 years so I believe it’s ranking – what a wonderful city!
I currently live in the #3 ranked county, Sandoval NM right now. I know that Rio Rancho NM is MUCH cleaner than Albuquerque NM. We’re 700 (or so) feet higher than ABQ and above the smog that they sometimes get. Looks like you and me are doing pretty good, eh?
