School On The Move?

The school board is considering moving Skyline Alternative School – the students and staff – to the campus of the former Paris Gibson Middle School. Apparently the existing Skyline facility is getting a bit too small, and Paris Gibson, since being shuttered (for the most part), seems to be a perfect location: centrally located and convenient, built as a school, along the bus line, etc. The existing Skyline facility would eventually be used as an elementary school, as the neighborhood it serves continues to grow. Seems like a good thing to me; it would be nice to see Paris Gibson serving as a school again. Any naysayers out there?

Skyline was originally used as the school for students with special needs before inclusion. I think a elementary would be an easy transition for the building…build a playground & it should work.
