Anyone who has driven along 10th Avenue South recently has seen this horrible inflatable-thingie flapping in the wind in front of the Verizon store (next to Starbuck’s). On a scale of 1 to 10 – with 10 being the most annoying – how would you rate this thing? More to the point: does this thing make you MORE or LESS likely to shop at that Verizon outlet?
And if you haven’t had the “pleasure” of seeing this stupid thing, here’s a Tiny Video of it in action…

Unfortunately this “marketing ploy” has grown from a mild annoyance to the irritating thing it is today. It gets my attention but doesn’t make me want to shop there.
I like it.
Gotta be a contrarian, eh, GeeGuy?
You couldn’t tell?
