Polar Plunge – Mission Accomplished

posted on Saturday, December 2, 2006

The results are in, and the winner is the Special Olympics of Montana! Yep, after all the challenges and good-natured competition, it turns out that BOTH teams wound up taking the plunge at the Christmas Stroll. Alex, Julie, Cindy, Cecile, Jerry – all the folks from both stations – good job! KFBB beat their goal and raised over $1,050, and the KRTV team managed to raise over $2,400. Lots of other teams contributed, too, and there were plenty of folks lined up for the privilege of jumping into the water today. The temperature at the time of the jump: 22 degrees! I salute all the folks who donated, and especially the brave souls who took the plunge!
