The Smith’s pic might be the first display, but the “Seasonal” room at Wal-Mart is somewhat amusing. The front half is given to Halloween stuff, but the further back you go, the more you get into Christmas stuff. I imagine as the costumes and black crepe paper sell out, the wreaths and snow globes will continue their inexorable advance toward the front.
K-mart has had Christmas trees up for at least a week. Hey Dave, I talked to a guy in Michigan this morning and he told me we are supposed to get 10″ of snow! I don’t know where he got that info, but I thought you might enjoy the idea of it more than I did.
