I can’t recall where I saw it, but I’m pretty sure that I read a few years ago that the average date for the first freeze of the season in Great Falls is September 16. True? I don’t know. I’ve also enjoyed tales from some of the longer-time residents of Great Falls who tell of September snow, but that hasn’t happened in my 4 years here. But now – right on time, according to what I think I read – it looks like we might indeed get at least a sprinkling of September snow! I’m cautiously optimistic…how about you?
