Chirp
Whenever I’m at the intersection of 10th Avenue South and 23rd Street (where the Albertson’s/Target center is), I always notice the “chirp, chirp” sound being emitted from the signposts. Haven’t heard it anywhere else in town. Do you know why this chirping happens only at this intersection?

The chirp is to help blind people cross 10th. I’m not sure why there are no others I notice either.

At one time, there was a ‘chirper’ on Central Avenue at 5th Street, I recall, but it was no longet there after they installed the historic-looking new light signals in the downtown area.
