It’s official: Great Falls hit the 100-degree mark on Friday - the first time this year (and I hope the last!). The linked article also talks about local bat deaths, by the way. And yes, it definitely IS better than 100-degrees in lots of other places, because it is a “dry heat” — believe me, after living in South Texas and Florida for many years, I can tell you unequivocally that 100-degrees in Montana is MUCH better than 100-degrees in humid places. Here, it is at least tolerable.

And, I can tell you unequivocally that 100-degrees here abouts is MUCH better than 85-degrees with 90% humidity in the NYC area.

I don’t mind the heat, but it’s burning my damn grass!
