In keeping with the spirit of this Mother’s Day weekend, here’s a really cute shot of some baby geese — or “goslings” if you want to get technical — nestled under Mommy’s wing. They were hiding from the Scary Man With The Loaf Of Bread (me). Once the other geese got a taste of the bread, though, these little gooses were scurrying about to get some crumbs, too.

Great picture. Are swans geese too? We saw a pair of white geese flying in Livingston yesterday . Not sure if those are another type of goose or what.
