UNCONFIRMED REPORTS THAT THERE HAS BEEN A SHOOTING AT CMR HIGH SCHOOL — THE SCHOOL IS NOW IN LOCKDOWN — ANY INFORMATION YOU CAN PROVIDE, ANY DETAILS THAT MAY HELP OTHERS IN THE COMMUNITY (CALM WORRIED PARENTS, ETC). PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS BELOW IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION.
UPDATE via the GF Tribune: “A high school junior died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a restroom near the principal’s office at C.M. Russell High School shortly after 8 a.m. this morning, school officials said. School officials initially told students there was a medical emergency; counselors broke the news of the youth’s death later. Some of the boy’s closest friends were allowed to leave school but classes resumed after the initial investigation was completed. CMR quickly assembled a team of counselors to help grieving students, teachers and staff, said Dick Kuntz, assistant superintendent for secondary grades.”

The only information I have heard so far is that they are trying to get into the home of the parents and aren’t having any luck.

Also appears that the shooting was a suicide in the bathroom and doesn’t sound like any other students were injured.

Tragically, a CMR junior committed suicide in the rest room next to the office. No one else was injured.

ryan was a good friend of mine he was not upset or hostile he went to death calmly. his last words to friends were “its been a good time”

I was one of Ryan’s only friends, and somehow I feel that if I would not have moved from Montana, I could have helped him out.
We were the nerds, the rejects and the ones that nobody respected.
Ryan only had one other friend, Jacob, the had been friends since fifth grade
